Post-Tool Pedagogy, 2023
Post-Tool Pedagogy is a manifesto for a hypothetical design curriculum which asks: how do we engage with the plurality of tools? How do we integrate both playful and critical approaches to teaching tools in a design curriculum? How do we address the tool’s underlying biases, which are intimately connected to the economic and social biases of our culture?
The content of the poster draws from three academic references: Do Artifacts Have Politics? by Langdon Winner, Staying with the Trouble by Donna Haraway, and Queer Phenomenology by Sara Ahmed.
